The Element camper van kit will get you on the road within minutes thanks to its unique interlocking construction design. This kit is especially made for the Honda Element (2003-2011) but it will also fit other numerous flat floored vehicles such as the Dodge Grand Caravan. This model design allows an ultra-easy assembly and compact storage. Also, you will be able to assemble it with no tools!
This kit is completely made from of ultralight marine grade 15mm (5/8'') Poplar wood veneers issued from sustainable wood plantation certified FSC, PEFC CARB Phase 2 / TSCA Title VI. It can be delivered stained and varnished (Also available in raw wood) with a non toxic water based all in one product that will guarantee you an unmatched life span.
You will be able to complete your kit with a 3’’ (7.5 cm) 3 pieces, high quality polyurethane foam mattress with two tone Twill covers.
Total bed size is 48’’ (120 cm) wide by maximum 78’’(198 cm) (Standard mattress is 72'', (1.82m)) long with front folding panel in horizontal position. We can make custom mattress up to 78''. Note that due to front seat design change, the 2007+ Element have less space available for bed, it is around 70'' (177 cm).
You will get a huge storage compartment under the bed to carry out all the gear you can think of. The panels forming the top of the sleeping platform are also foldable to allow easy access to the storage compartment if needed from the kit front or rear end.
The sleeping platform kit measurements are 59’’ (147.5 cm) long by 41’’ (102.5 cm) wide when assembled. The kit has a slope of 3.5 ‘’ (8.75 cm). These measurements reflect the cargo size needed to install this kit when front seats are in normal driving position (front kit panel folded).
The Element kit dry weight is 95 lbs with mattress.
